Do I have to take meter readings on a Monday?
Put simply, no, you do not have to take meter readings on a Monday.
You can take meter readings on any day of the week. However if you do not enter readings on a Monday sMeasure will interpolate what your readings would have been on the previous Monday. We do this so that consumption data and degree days data match up to the same period of time.
For the greater level of accuracy for assessing your building’s energy performance we recommend taking your readings on a Monday. Interpolated readings appear in blue, the actual reading is recorded too and you can view this by hovering your mouse over any interpolated reading.
