The Interactive Ocean - Video
Oceanographer John Delaney and his team have come up with a new idea for gathering data about ocean data. The team want to create a network of sensors, connected by the current infrastructure of underwater cables. The current electric and optical cables will connect cameras and sensor arrays, gathering huge amounts of data. It is hoped that the sensors will detect underwater volcanoes, earthquakes and storms in ways that have not been possible before. The data gathered will be used to improve the complex computer models of our oceans.

We are busy fleshing out our website with more quality information relating to all things SMEasure and building energy management. One thing we'd like to do is provide better feedback about how SMEasure is helping businesses and organisations manage their energy use. We would like to profile organisations as part of this. Would you like to be an SMEasure case study? It will be good exposure for your efforts, and illustrate what SMEasure can help achieve. If you'd like to to do this or have any questions, email Muriel at muriel.bonjean@ouce.ox.ac.uk
Show your commitment to a Low Carbon Future by adding the SMEasure logo to your website. The SMEasure logo and pledge can be easily and freely downloaded from the Link To Us page here: http://www.smeasure.org.uk/partners.
